It’s almost the end for The Late Show with David Letterman and so many big names who’ve been on his show over the years are dropping by to say farewell.
Last night (May 6), Cher dropped in to remind Letterman that he’s still the thing she called him back in 1986.
The singer stepped in on his monologue to bid him farewell, in that special Cher way she has.

“You know, Dave, for a number of years, there’s something that I’ve always wanted to get straight between us.”
“Me too,” Letterman replied jokingly.
