It’s the most popular show on television. NCIS. CBS spun it off with an NCIS in Los Angeles. Also big. Now, the wheel spins for a third NCIS show. This one will be based in New Orleans and it starts in the spring. They’ll solve the navy crimes from Texas all the way to Pensacola.
Britney Spears is making her comeback with a series of 16 concerts in Vegas. Right now, they’re using the word “disaster”. She’s only sold out 3 of them. Ticket sales are tanking. The other problem: some sources say Britney WILL indeed lip sync through the show. The justification: They lip sync the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil and no one complains.
What part of “Farewell Tour” do you not understand? Cher went on a massive one a few years ago. I think she farewell’d the Metroplex 2 or 3 times. Now, she’s running a comeback tour. And she’s coming back to the AAC next March 26. Third stop on the tour.
This shows the power of television, even on cable. You know the series Mad Men. Set back in the 60’s. Ad men like Don Draper. The show has been HUGE for one area that’s around today. Lucky Strike cigarettes. They have seen their sales increase 10 billion packs in a few years, all because of Mad Men
